We have all been gushing over Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar’s love story from the moment the news broke. There has been a lot of conversation around their age gap, whether she is someone just hungry for the spotlight, whether his roving eye has indeed come to rest and so on. Through it all, we’ve seen the couple be absolutely unperturbed by gossip, running alongside each other at various marathons in the country, and sometimes even with Milind’s superwoman mother. 

 

This will be Milind’s fourth foray into matters of the heart – that we know of, of course. He was one half of the hot duo of the 90s when he was dating supermodel Madhu Sapre and even did a nude photoshoot together for a shoe brand’s ad campaign. After they broke up, he dated and married French actress, Mylene Jampanoi, with whom he starred in the surreal, Valley of Flowers (this time, Milind’s first instance of on-screen nudity). After they divorced in 2009, he found solace in the arms of actress Shahana Goswami, but that didn’t last either. Rumour has it that he wanted kids and Shahana didn’t. 

 

Which brings us to Ankita Konwar. People are still confused about how young – or old – she actually is. Some say she is 22, others whisper that she is barely legal. After quitting her air hostess job (which you cannot continue with after you have started dating a celebrity), she transformed herself into an athlete too, the both of them giving us #CoupleGoals every day on Instagram.
