In an unfortunate turn of events, controversial actor-producer Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK has confirmed the rumours about his illness by revealing that he’s been diagnosed with stomach cancer. The internet has been abuzz with hearsay accounts about his health since a few days.
A verified Twitter account late Tuesday night posted a press release with updates about KRK’s condition. According to it, his stomach cancer is in its third stage and the former Bigg Boss contestant will appreciate if people continue to behave with him ‘like a normal person only.’

Not seeking ‘anybody’s sympathy,’ KRK has also express his two wishes (before dying in ‘1-2 years more’). First, to produce an ‘A Grade’ Bollywood film and the second to work with superstar Amitabh Bachchan in a film or produce it.
But in the release, he says that both of these wishes will die with him, supposedly because he is not in the right physical condition and would like to ‘spend my all time with my lovely family.’
Apart from his work in regional Bhojpuri cinema, he also played a cameo in the hit Bollywood film ‘Ek Villain’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
With a penchant for controversy, KRK has had his account suspended not once but twice. He has had a poor track record with respect to his attitude towards female actresses. Moreover, he has repeatedly accused the Khan trinity of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan for sabotaging his career and getting his Twitter handle suspended.
The news has garnered mixed response from the Twitteratti. Some even believe that it might be an extended April Fool’s Day prank or a ‘cheap’ stunt to get an opportunity work with Bachchan.
A few others have even gone on to celebrate the fact that they would not have to deal with his repeated antics in public.
But some sections of the internet junta have expressed empathy in these times of crisis for him and his family.
Wishing KRK a speedy recovery!
