Kanye West has dominated the music industry with his unforgettable albums and his Yeezy brand has taken the fashion world by storm. But the artist doesn’t plan on just stopping there. According to a TMZ report, Kanye West is now planning to foray into the cosmetics business.

A new trademark application filed for his Yeezy brand through his holding company — Mascotte Holdings — shows plans for Yeezy-branded cosmetics, makeup, body glitter, skin creams, hair products, potpourri, and even scented pine cones.

But this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about West’s interest in cosmetics. Back in 2017, he filed a similar trademark for Donda cosmetics, named after his late mother. But since then, nothing has materialised.

But the news of the artist’s new venture comes at an awkward time. West’s sister-in-law Kylie Jenner was recently accused of forging tax returns, falsely proving her billionaire status. Apart from that, if West’s Yeezy makeup line comes out, one of his biggest competitors will be Jenner’s brand itself.
