Jeff Bezos announced that he will be donating $10 billion to save the Earth’s environment. The world’s richest man said the money would finance work by scientists, activists and other groups.

The Amazon founder announced the news on his Instagram handle, where he talked about launching the new Bezos Earth Fund.

According to The Guardian, while speaking at Amazon’s Smbhav summit for small and medium-sized businesses in India last month, Bezos said: “Anybody today who is not acknowledging that climate change is real – that we humans are affecting the planet in a very significant and dangerous way – those people are not being reasonable.”
