While most of us seem to be tired of the Elon Musk and Twitter drama, the billionaire appears to have not given up. The 51-year-old was in the news yet again today, with his latest attempt to be “funny” online. Musk was seen entering the Twitter HQ with a literal sink. Of course, Musk posted his latest video on his Twitter account with the caption “Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!” (sigh)
If that wasn’t enough, Musk also changed his Twitter bio, which now reads – “Chief Twit”. Musk’s antics are a part of a Friday-bound deadline the billionaire faces to complete the purchase of the micro-blogging site. If the deadline is not met, Musk could potentially face a billion-dollar lawsuit from Twitter shareholders.
While most of the internet is eagerly waiting for the long-dragged saga to be over, employees at Twitter appear to be living in a state of constant anxiety because of Musk. The billionaire has previously stated that the social media site will need significant changes, with an array of job cuts on the cards. Musk stated that this was due to the high acquisition cost, which was finalized at $44bn.
Apart from the job cuts, many have expressed concerns over the deal, with some stating that Musk might bring back Donald Trump’s account, which was permanently banned by the website. Musk has also been in the news recently due to his controversial statements regarding the current Russia – Ukraine conflict.
Of course, with an army of followers, it doesn’t seem like the billionaire’s popularity is waning anytime soon. For instance, here’s how his followers reacted to his latest hijinks.
