• Remember that famous Charging Bull sculpture on Wall Street? Well, on Monday, visitors to the statue witnessed quite a sight – a shirtless man wearing a Vladimir Putin mask sat atop the bull while it was covered in rainbow-coloured sex toys. It wasn’t just a weird thing that he randomly decided to do – it was a political statement about how the Russian President is controlling the US.

• Sridhar Chillal of Pune, known for being the guy with the longest fingernails, has finally cut his nails. The HuffPost reports that Chillal managed to grow them to a length of 29 feet and 10 inches and was even honoured by the Guinness Book of World Records. He decided to do away with the nails because they were hurting him. They are now preserved at the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Odditorium in Times Square.

Many new mothers decide to eat their placenta after they give birth but there’s a new trend now where mums are using it to plant trees. There’s this thing called a Bio Capsule that makes it possible. The Mirror UK reports that this “capsule is a biodegradable conical device in which you put soil and a seed to grow”. One can add their placentas in a room at the bottom, water the capsule and grow a plant. Woah!
