The beloved “Fallout” video games are getting a show on Amazon, which will be helmed by Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
According to Indiewire, the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic alternative history based in the United States where a nuclear apocalypse has destroyed most of the country. Individuals can create a customisable character who explores the remains. While the first game was released in 1997, it has had multiple successful sequels.

“Over the last decade, we looked at many ways to bring ‘Fallout’ to the screen,” Todd Howard, executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, said in a statement. “But it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right. We’re enormous fans of their work and couldn’t be more excited to work with them and Amazon Studios.”
