Previously dubbed by leak aficionados as the “iPhone SE 2,” the new claimed release date of the iPhone 9 apparently had its original date delayed due to the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic. But Apple still wants the 9 to be out there as soon as possible.
Their aim is to offer an extremely affordable iPhone. Similar to the previous iPhone SE and XR, the 9 is expected to be a lot cheaper with prices reportedly being $399 USD (approximately Rs 30,000).
