New Trailer Of Street Fighter 6 Marks The Return Of Guile
‘Street Fighter 6’ Trailer: A Denim-Clad Guile Is Making A Comeback

The game will also introduce a new ‘World Tour’ mode, which is a single-player campaign that lets players choose their own characters

In case you wanted to punch someone really really hard we’ve got some great news for you. Everyone’s favourite fighting game (no, not Mortal Kombat) is back! This year’s Summer Game Fest gave us the gameplay trailer of Street Fighter 6, and let’s just say there’s a lot to discuss here.

The news of a new Street Fighter game coming out has been doing the rounds on the internet for a while now. We saw the first glimpse of the upcoming sequel during PlayStation’s State of Play event earlier this month. The recent trailer though has shed some more light on the game mechanics, modes, new characters and more. Surprisingly enough, it also teases an open-world system.

What has got our attention though, is the new trailer also confirms the return of Gulie to the franchise. This is in addition to last week’s announcement confirming the addition of Luke, Ryu, Chun-Li, and Jamie.

The American hero, Gulie, clad in a denim jacket (because why not?), is seen sporting his signature haircut, and we get to watch his huge muscles take down his foes with a flash kick and sonic boom, which he hits by leaping into the air.

The game will also introduce a new ‘World Tour’ mode, which is a single-player campaign that lets players choose their own characters. Then there’s the open-world aspect of the game called the ‘Battle Hub,’ where players will be able to explore, engage and communicate with other players all around the world.

Capcom has been periodically dropping trailers of the new Street Fighter video game for a while now. Although the recent one was as brief as the other ones, the publisher is set to showcase a detailed look at the Capcom Showcase on June 13th. Rest assured, we’ll be sure to bring you all the latest updates. Until then, stay tuned for more!
