Asia’s largest airshow, Aero India 2025, has commenced at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru, running from February 10 to 14. This 15th edition showcases a remarkable array of cutting-edge fighter jets, transport aircraft, and helicopters from around the globe. Attendees can anticipate thrilling aerial displays, intricate manoeuvres, and insights into the latest advancements in aviation technology, underscoring India’s expanding role in the global aerospace and defence sectors.
Inaugurating the event, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted its significance, stating, “Aero India is an important event because of being a confluence of the state of the art, critical and frontier technology. This platform provides us an opportunity to enhance the relationship based on mutual respect, interest and benefit.” He further emphasised India’s commitment to peace and stability amid global uncertainties, noting, “In this environment of global uncertainty, India is a big country where there is peace and prosperity.”
