Instagram turned ten and to celebrate the occasion, it has added a couple of new, celebratory features and updates, ranging from visual additions to the expansion of its eCommerce tools.
The main celebratory element is its Stories Map, which provides a private look at where you’ve posted Instagram Stories from over the past three years. Users will be able to share, download and save these stories in the highlights section. It has also added an another feature that will hide comment similar to others that have been reported by a user. One can view them by tapping ‘View Hidden Comments.’
Instagram has also added a range of variable icons for the app, customized home-screens. You can now choose from a range of app icons to better suit your custom theme. All you need to do is update your Instagram app to the latest version. Then head to your profile, and tap on the ‘Settings.’ Drag the screen down in the main menu to reveal the hidden app icons listing.
