Google’s Pixel range of phones is Android’s answer to Apple’s iPhone. It is one of the world’s best selling smartphones and one of the most popular ones as well. The camera is almost unmatched and the exclusive updates are a bonus. So, it’s only right that people are excited about the fourth Pixel and what will be different this time.
With brands like Samsung and OnePlus already using bezel-less displays and punch-hole displays, it’s time for Google to show what it can do. Through a series of leaks online, you can see that bezels are clearly done with. A majority of users had issues with the Pixel 3’s fat bezels. Thankfully, they’ve been taken care of. Even right now, the screen isn’t as fluid as it should be, but it’s definitely an improvement.
The leaked images indicate that the Pixel 4 will have no notches and will hide everything on the top bezel, just like Samsung’s Note 8. From left to right, there are openings for the phone’s dual cameras and sensors that will have 3D face recognition; the top speaker; and a mysterious pill-shaped opening. According to BGR, that slot will house Google’s Project Soil radars that will help with gesture controls.
The iPhone 11 will reportedly still have a big fat notch at the top. So, the Pixel and iPhone will differ when you see it from the front. But when you flip the phone, you’ll notice they both have the same camera setup. Google and Apple are going for this square-shaped design on the rear which has three cameras and one flash within it.
