Fujifilm is a company that has always had its name on top when it comes to innovative camera technology and evolutions in the field. Fujifilm looks to continue that with their latest offering for India.
Fujifilm has unveiled the new GFX100, a mirrorless digital camera which includes an image sensor with the world’s highest 102 million pixels resolution and unique colour reproduction technology.
The GFX100 is the flagship camera belonging to the GFX series of mirrorless cameras that have achieved a lot of praise from professional photographers and critics over the years. The GFX100 boasts of offerings that you would not find in most professional cameras out there today. It comes with a back-illuminated sensor with phase detection pixels, in-body image stabilization (IBIS) mechanism and 4K/30P video recording capability.
The Optical Devices Division of Fujifilm also unveiled the new ‘Premista’ series of cinema zoom lenses. The Premista lenses perfectly complement the GFX100’s large-format sensors and help deliver amazing bokeh, remarkable high-resolution and rich gradation with HDR (high dynamic range).
The Premista 28-100mm T2.9 will be available in August 2019 at a price of $38,800 USD and the Premista 80-250mm T2.9-3.5 will be released later this year at a price of USD 39,800.
The Fujifilm GFX100 mirrorless large format sensor camera is now available in the Indian market at a price of Rs 7,86,999.
