It looks like ‘Call of Duty: Warzone’ has something huge planned for its players, quite literally. After crossing over with Snoop Dogg and cinematic iconic like Rambo and John McClane, the next special event guess could be none other than Godzilla.
Rumours of a Godzilla and King Kong event have been floating on the internet since earlier this year now. While details were scarce then, a new host of teasers suggest that Gojira’s arrival is imminent.
For instance, earlier this week a new trailer was released teasing new “scale” like gun skins, with glowing blue stripes and a gun barrel that looks like Godzilla’s mouth. What’s more interesting in players of ModernWarzone found a strange ripple effect causing in the ocean, located off the coast of Caldera in Warzone.
Additionally, a Twitter user by the name of Fabllegends found a poster on Rebirth island, which featured a giant creature breathing atomic breathe. This nothing but confirms who the next season will be based on.
Call of Duty: Warzone has featured many PvE events before, where players will be tasked with taking down warring monsters. The good news is, that we may not have to wait for long to find out, with the next season of Call of Duty slated to begin on 27 April 2022.
