The event also celebrated individual achievement. Mumbai student Alisha Rajpal won a summer camp at Aiglon College. She earned this prize by participating in a Leadership Masterclass held during the Swiss Learning event in Mumbai. The event featured a competition where students had the chance to win a summer or winter camp in Switzerland by attending the masterclass and excelling in their application and performance during the session. Winners were chosen based on their applications and their engagement in the Leadership Masterclass, and Alisha Rajpal's achievement was acknowledged at the event
A highlight of the event was the exclusive Masterclass titled ‘Discover your Leadership Superpower’, led by Stuart White, Principal of College Alpin Beau Soleil. The Masterclass was aimed at offering the students a chance to win a summer or winter camp in Switzerland. The evening concluded with a networking session, allowing direct interaction with the directors of the schools and camps.
Christophe Xavier Clivaz, Founder & Director at Swiss Learning shares his thoughts on the event. He said, “Switzerland is now a prime location for research, education, and innovation. Students traveling to Switzerland are also exposed to a variety of premium educational programs in different languages. Every year, we see 100+ Indian students travelling to Switzerland in pursuit of the country’s education excellence.”
The showcase featured 10 Swiss schools, including Aiglon College, Institut auf dem Rosenberg, and The American School in Switzerland (TASIS), among others, each representing the high standards and comprehensive education Swiss institutions are known for.
Founded in 2006, Swiss Learning aims to promote the long-standing tradition of educational excellence inherent in Swiss boarding schools and hotel management schools. With its headquarters in Geneva and offices worldwide, Swiss Learning serves as a bridge between Switzerland and the global community, fostering international educational exchanges.
The event in Mumbai not only highlighted the opportunities available through Swiss education but also reinforced the cultural and educational ties between India and Switzerland, paving the way for future collaborations and exchanges.
