Sushant Singh Rajput was closest to possibly the greatest cricketer of all time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This connection wasn’t even in doubt, Rajput was the lead actor in the biopic of MS Dhoni. They had to spend a lot of time together to get to know each other and learn more about Dhoni’s past days. Rajput spent close to a year and a half preparing for this film. He used to practice batting, fielding, and keeping for hours, and this was his routine for months. After the film was released, he said that the hard work and the dedication he had to put in is still ten times less than what Dhoni used to train through. Since the start of the film’s shooting, they both used to hang out with each other, and Rajput even went to watch many IPL matches in which Dhoni used to play. Coincidentally, Rajput was there when Dhoni hit one of his best knocks in the IPL against KXIP and won the game for his team in the last over. Till Sushant was alive, they used to be in regular touch and celebrate their victories in their respective fields together. Dhoni was melancholy as it was such a tragic incident. No one can’t even believe what had happened. Dhoni was not in a position to express his grief.
The duo was one of the purest combinations ever to be found, and Dhoni hasn’t publicly talked about this incident since it has taken place, and the press has respected his position.
