The results are out. And, Virat Kohli has not only made the cut but hit the ball out of the park.

India’s cricket team captain, Kohli has topped the list for highest-paid sportsperson for 2018. This 30-year old athlete has managed to beat India’s former cricket team captain, MS Dhoni.

Last year, Kohli managed to climb to second position for the second highest-paid sportsperson. In a span of a year, this sports personality managed to almost double his wealth.

To top it all off, this cricketer has also made it on the 2018 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List, right behind Salman Khan.

He raked in $24 million dollars this year, thanks to his profession, but more importantly his slew of endorsements. Kohli’s has partnered with the likes of Puma, Pepsi, Audi, Uber and Oakley. Kohli also partnered with New Era to introduce his own signature head-wear line.

The cricketer had an incredible year not only on the financial front but his professional life. He was the only Indian cricketer to score over 1000 Test Run for 3rd straight year. Kohli also became the second quickest batsman to reach 24 Test centuries after Australian great Donald Bradman. He awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award 2018.
