The IPL season is on in all its glory and every team is trying to get a hold of that prestigious cup. Mumbai Indians (MI) are considered to be one of the strongest contenders this IPL season. The team currently sits at the second spot, right below the Chennai Super Kings on the IPL points table. MI has a well-balanced team of batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders, but we’re just focussing on our three favourite MI batsmen for this season.
3.) Rohit Sharma
Sharma has proved himself on many occasions, but this season, he has taken a step back as a batsman. Sharma knows how to lead a team and even though his batting form hasn’t been the best this season, Sharma is still one of the most reliable batsmen in MI.

2.) Hardik Pandya
Pandya had a slow start this season, but as MI kept playing more matches, his confidence increased. Pandya has won the man of the match trophy twice so far and he seems to be unstoppable.

1.) Kieron Pollard
Pollard is undoubtedly our favourite batsman. You see, it’s not always about being the top scorer or the batsman who hits the most sixes. Pollard has been with MI for years now and the man has made himself comfortable. A Rohit Sharma or Quinton De Kock may get bowled out sooner than expected, but once Pollard is on the pitch, he’ll be there for a while. He isn’t an opening batsmen but comes in the middle, similar to Dhoni, who are match savers. If the openers can’t make it till the end, you sure as hell know that this guy will. He comes up in tough situations and has the ability to turn the match around completely.
