Social media specialists Hopper HQ have just unveiled a star-studded list of top-earning athletes based just on the amount they can charge per post on Instagram.
Unsurprisingly, Juventus football star Cristiano Ronaldo is at the top of the list. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has a massive number of 176 followers on Instagram. According to Hopper HQ, Ronaldo can charge up to $1 million USD per post.
Brazil and PSG forward Neymar Jr. comes in at a close second with Lionel Messi taking the third spot. The list heavily consists mostly of footballers (9 out of the 16), but athletes from other sports also make an appearance. Ex-UFC champ Conor McGregor, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey, Tennis star Serena Williams and NBA player LeBron James have all earned their spots on the list.
Only one Indian is a part of the list. Indian skipper Virat Kohli sits at the ninth position and according to Hopper HQ, Kohli can charge up to 1 Crore ($196,000 USD) per post.
