On Sunday, the internet went into a frenzy when ace Javelin thrower and double Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra announced that he has married Himani Mor, a tennis player currently studying in America. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Himachal Pradesh. "Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after," India’s Golden boy captioned the pictures.  

Although he is always making headlines, Neeraj managed to keep his love life under wraps. In fact, just days before he got married, the athlete was asked about his wedding plans during an interview and ironically, he said he doesn’t believe in making public declarations. The 27-year-old currently lives in his ancestral village in Haryana but has to travel all over the world for training and tournaments.  

He first shot to stardom after delivering a terrific performance at the Tokyo Olympics, where he became the first Indian to win gold in an athletics event.
