Jose Mourinho once said “I prefer not to speak. If I speak, I will be in big trouble,” on live TV. Maybe that’s why he appears to have taken a gamble on singing…or at least appearing in music videos. After long hiatus, UK-based rapper Stormzy has dropped his new music video Mel Made Me Do it, featuring none other than AS Roma manager.
But Mourinho isn’t the only highlight of the nearly 11-minute-long video. Stormzy was also able to rope in Usain Bolt for a cameo. Joining him is a long list of celebrities, including Ian Wright, Louis Theroux, Jonathan Ross, Dina Asher-Smith, Flipz, Allyas, and more.
The 59-year-old created history this summer after becoming the second manager to win five major European titles, after his AS Roma side beat Feyenoord 1-0, to win the inaugural UEFA Conference League. Mourinho has also had successful stints with Chelsea (twice), Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Porto. The Portuguese though fell short in re-creating the same sort of success with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs.
But coming back to the topic, the new Stormzy video seems to be creating quite a…storm on the internet, with reactions flooding in from both music and football fans. Here’s what they are saying.
