Sergio Ramos Denies ‘F*ck The W#re’ Comment About PSG After Champions League Exit

PSG fans are clearly not fans of his outbursts

Soon after PSG were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich, Sergio Ramos was spotted murmuring an objectional statement about the club on the camera. The PSG faithful, however disappointed they were with the club’s performance, didn’t like this outburst.

Movistar, the Spanish broadcaster, filmed Ramos saying “F*ck the wh*re that gave birth to Paris. Motherf****r” as he walked down the tunnel after a disappointing night. The star defender, however, has come up with the clarification on Twitter, stating his “pfff” sound was misinterpreted as Paris.

“I don’t usually dwell on this subject, but I don’t want to accept something that didn’t happen,” wrote Ramos on Twitter. ” At no time do I say Paris, I make a sound of disappointment “pssss” or “pfff” in the context of an expression (crude, admittedly) that we are used to saying in football. Let’s not invent, let’s not look for something where there is nothing,” he added.

A couple of days ago Ramos expressed his disappointment on Twitter, stating PSG were never playing at the level required to beat Bayern Munich.

“Deeply disappointed in you and in us. We were not at the level required by #UCL . We didn’t know how to handle the key details and we miss the main objective. It’s painful, but champions are reborn from defeat and forged in adversity. We will be back!” he wrote.

After losing the first leg by 1-0, PSG needed to score at least two goals to advance to the next round, but they ended up conceding two more. Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe couldn’t make a desirable impact in both legs, while Neymar missed out the game due to injury. The Brazilian star is out for the rest of the season, and it’s likely that his time at the Paris-based club has come to an end.

“We did not manage to score when we were on top of things,” PSG coach Christophe Galtier said. “Then we concede a ridiculous goal. What made the difference is the fact we missed some key players in both legs. It’s a big disappointment but we have to swallow it.”
