When two giants of this kind get together, you can only expect fireworks bigger than the Burj Khalifa. Visit Dubai, the official tourism board of the mega city, has confirmed a global partnership with football club Real Madrid. This marks the Spanish’s club’s first official destination partner. The agreement that covers both the men’s and women’s teams is a part of the ambitious Dubai Economic Agenda—the D33 that aims to consolidate the position of Dubai as one of the top-three global cities in the world.
“We are very proud of this new partnership with Visit Dubai as the Club’s first Official Destination Partner. Dubai is a destination that strives for excellence in all its entertainment offerings, which is a value shared by the Club. We are delighted to bring this exciting tourist destination to our millions of Madridistas around the world,” stated Emilio Butragueño, Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid.
To announce this landmark alliance, Visit Dubai released a short video on their YouTube channel. And who better than superstar players like Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, David Alaba and Jude Bellingham to feature in it? Add to that, a massive Real Madrid-themed park will also be built at Dubai Parks and Resorts, featuring attractions related to the glorious past and present culture of the club.
“We are excited to begin our journey with Real Madrid as a global partner. This game-changing collaboration between Dubai and the greatest club in the world is built upon a shared vision and values, where every achievement serves as motivation to pursue new heights,” said Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM).
