Netherlands Coach Louis van Gaal Invites His Wife 'To Get Laid' After Senegal World Cup Fixture
Netherlands Coach Louis van Gaal Caught On Camera Inviting His Wife To Hotel Room ‘To Get Laid’

Van Gaal will retire after this World Cup

Louis van Gaal, the head coach of the Netherlands, was caught in an awkward situation in the practice session of 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he was filmed while he was asking for sexual favors from his wife.

Van Gaal, 71, is married to his current wife Truus since 2008, and she turned up to see his husband in the training session after the Netherlands’ first game. “But you can come to the hotel. Just to my room. To get laid,” said van Gaal to his wife.

Earlier this month, van Gaal revealed that his wife brought him six orange underpants, and he will be wearing them throughout for a good omen! “My lovely Truus has bought me three new pairs of orange underpants – and they went in my suitcase for Qatar
before anything else. I wear orange underpants every day – and not only when I am with Holland,” said the Dutch manager, who will quit his job after the World Cup 2022.

The story goes that once Truus bought him a pair of orange Bjorn Borg underpants as a joke, but van Gaal liked them so much that he started wearing them before every international assignment.

Van Gaal is quite famous for his eccentric press conferences. During his reign at Manchester United, he once compared the hair-pulling of Marouane Fellaini by an opponent to a “sex masochism video”. He once admitted his over usage of the word “horny” in his pep talk with players.

Van Gaal, one of the greatest managers of the era, took this job last year, and has gone on to make several eye-raising decisions. He has had an illustrious career at the club level, and also reached the semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup in his previous stint as the Dutch manager.

In the opening game against Senegal, Van Gaal went ahead with Andries Noppert as his first-choice goalkeeper. Noppert put up a clinical show, using his large wingspan to perfection, and making a couple of stellar saves to keep the Netherlands ahead in the game. Van Gaal, however, wasn’t pleased with the narrow win and wanted his team to be more efficient.

“Listen to me, we played with poor ball possession in the first half but nonetheless we created five chances. It was more balanced in the second half. We created one chance and scored twice and, to be honest, I was calm. I always had the feeling we would score. So it was well deserved although we were shoddy in possession,” said van Gaal.
