Fifa is the best sports video game out there, and each year many people buy the game and play the particular edition for quite some time. People who have played various editions of the game have confirmed that it is a very addictive game involving a lot of brain, skills, and tactics. Over the years, we have seen players rage a lot and, in anger, break their controller over a loss over the game. Yesterday evening, EA Sports, the producer company of the game, announced that Kylian Mbappe would be the cover star of the upcoming FIFA.

Kylian Mbappe is one of the brightest young talents that the world has ever seen, and his selection last year didn’t surprise many people. He was a world cup winner at 18 and has achieved accolades at such a young age that he has been destined to become one of the game’s top players in the future. This year, the fans were expecting to see a change from the previous cover star. The likes of people who the fans might have wanted are Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Erling Haaland, Joao Felix, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Lionel Messi. Mbappe, amongst all of them, has had a poor season and according to his standards. EA has revealed that the cover star trailer would be out this Sunday, and people would be excited to see how the game will look and how Mbappe’s graphics shape up. Mbappe played recently for his national team France; meanwhile, he also fell short of expectations at Euro 2020 this summer, with Mbappe failing to score before Les Bleus were knocked out in the last 16 out at the hands of Switzerland. Mbappe missed the crucial penalty in the shootout, dooming the 2018 World Cup winners to elimination.
