Phil Foden, the bright young talent of Manchester City and England, now has a blond haircut. This new Foden look has been inspired by an England footballing legend, Paul Gascoigne, who had a similar haircut for the Euros in 1996. Foden wanted to replicate that and went on to copy the same haircut as the legend himself. Foden got this trim a few days before the tournament began and told that the team was hoping to replicate the England side of that year and even go past the semi-finals that England did in 1996. Harry Kane scored the winner after Kasper Schmeichel saved his penalty, and he converted the rebound. When the tournament began, Phil Foden said that his England teammates have agreed to dye their hair blond like him if they emerge victorious at Euro 2020. The midfielder unveiled his new look on the eve of the tournament, sparking comparisons to Paul Gascoigne, who went blond for Euro 96.
This promise can turn into a reality if England can beat Italy in the Euro finals on Sunday.
