According to media reports, Harry Kane has told the Tottenham Hotspur chairman, Daniel Levy, that he wants to leave the club. Harry Kane has been a loyal servant of the club for more than six years now, coming through the Spurs Academy. He was signed into the youth team from Leicester City for a meager price, and has been a bargain. With Kane set to leave the club, we look at the five strikers Spurs can look to replace with.
- Tammy Abraham
Tammy Abraham has become an out-of-favour striker at Chelsea under new manager Thomas Tuchel. He is the third choice striker behind the new signing Timo Werner and Oliver Giroud. He was in firing mode last season, as well as at the start of this season. He was unable to continue his hot form throughout the season, which is why he has felt out of line. He can be the striker signing that they need as he has potential and possesses a lot of similar qualities that Harry Kane has. Since he is out of favour at Chelsea, he might come for a reasonable price, and he, as a player, would love to lead the attack for a club like Spurs.

2) Maurio Icardi
Maurio Icardi hasn’t lived up to the hype and expectations the PSG fans had with him. He has underperformed throughout the season, and PSG was keen to play the Everton loanee Moise Kean, who is destined to join the club, and PSG wants to sign him permanently. He has been scoring the goals along with Mbappe and Neymar leaving Icardi behind in the pickling line. Spurs can be the ideal place for Icardi, and he can be the lethal striker that they might miss. He should be around the range of fifty million or so, and can be a good option sometimes in a two-striker formation.
3) Alexander Isak
Alexander Isak has been vital for Sweden, Real Sociedad, and for La Liga. He has been termed as the key player to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the Sweden team. He has lived up to his potential until now, and his last two seasons have been mind blowing. He is tall, and his heading ability has been his greatest asset, along with his shooting power. Since he is just 21 years old, he will cost a lot of money to Spurs, who can afford him with the money they get from the departure of Harry Kane.
4) Ivan Toney
Ivan Toney has been the top scorer of Brentford but as well as the EFL Championship. He has more than 35 goals this season, and when he is at the attack in 1v1 or 2v1 situations, he brings out his best asset of dribbling and shooting it right across the goal. Brentford is looking for a PL spot, and is battling in the playoffs for yet another season. Ivan Toney would be looking to fire his side into the top flight. But if Brentford fails to promote themselves, it would be a good thing for Spurs as they would be able to get Ivan Toney at an excellent and affordable price.
5) Patrick Bamford
Deemed as the understudy for Harry Kane in the English squad, he has had a stellar start to life in the Premier League. He has scored over 15 goals in 30 games and assists, making him a complete striker that Spurs would desire. Being English and having proved himself already in the English Premier League, he might cost Spurs a lot of money, which they should be willing to spend. He is known to be the perfect successor for Harry Kane in the future of the England team, so he might as well start where he left off.
Harry Kane will be leaving behind quite big boots to fill, but his reason to go is justified since he is at that stage of his career where he wants to win as many trophies as he can, and would love to join a big club that is destined to do so. With all these players, Spurs will be rumoured to sign someone to replace Kane with, and we’ll continue to provide such updates.
