Danny MacAskill’s Wee Day Out Is The Best Cycling Video You’ll See

So much amazeballs.

Danny MacAskill is a bicycle trials rider of legendary status, but he’s also one of the world’s YouTube pioneers. Since he released his first video, Inspired Bicyles, in 2009, his clips have racked up 250 million hits, making him one of the first viral video sensations. In his new video, Wee Day Out, MacAskill takes a day off from trials riding and goes for a spin in the Scottish countryside.

The video, full of humour and beautifully shot, sees MacAskill pull off some seemingly impossible tricks on his bicycle, the kind that will make you go “How the heck did he do that?”. Of the video, MacAskill says “Although I’m doing very abnormal riding, I set out to make a video that hopefully relates to the normal rider. Every rider has had to ride through a puddle when it’s been a bit unknown how deep the centre of that puddle is, it just so happens that the puddle in my film is 6ft deep.” Check out the stunning video here, and also have a look at MacAskill’s other videos – The Ridge, Imaginate, Cascadia,Epecuén and Way Back Home, which were filmed in various locations across Scotland.

Oh, and don’t try this stuff at home.
