NBA mega-star Steph Curry promises to set things right, after a 9-year-old basketball player wrote him a letter asking why his line of shoes with Under Armour wasn’t available for girls.

The letter was posted on Instagram by Chris Morrison, the father of 9-year-old Riley Morrison and was aimed at getting the attention of Steph Curry and Under Armour, which it did.

The handwritten letter by Riley states that she’s a big fan of Curry and wanted to buy his Curry 5 sneakers, but when she visited the Under Armour website, she was disappointed to see that the shoes weren’t available in the girls section. She goes on to write hoe she knows that he supports girl athletes and hopes he will work on the problem with Under Armour because “girls want tot rock the Curry 5’s too.”

Curry didn’t take too long to post a response letter to Riley. He took to Twitter to share his reply in which he says he talked to Under Amour on how to resolve the issue. He says, “I want to make sure you can wear my kicks proudly, so I’m going to send you a pair of Curry 5’s now and you’ll be one of the first kids to get the Curry 6.” He also revealed through the letter that he and Under Amour have something special planned for International Women’s Day on March 8 and that she should be a part of that.
