Just when we thought Dubsmash had started losing its appeal, Shah Rukh Khan joined the bandwagon. He debuted with one of his most popular dialogues from Devdas. Everyone from movie stars and musicians to us regular folk have been stung by this app that allows you to create selfie videos lip-syncing to well-known quotes or songs. Let’s see who are killing it
Ranveer Singh
I may never be able to outdo it … But I can at least try 🙂 only for you @iHrithik cuz I luv ya ! #eyetoeye pic.twitter.com/rYUTeSyAU1

Ranveer just broke the Internet this week when he dubsmashed Pakistani ‘popstar’ Taher Shah’s infamous song ‘Eye To Eye’ and dedicated it to Hrithik Roshan, who had challenged him to do this on his birthday (July 6). Just when you thought it had ended with the 15-second clip, he tweeted extended portions of the video ‘on popular demand’.
From the looks of it, the Indian cricketer is sure learning a trick or two from his girlfriend, actor Anushka Sharma. He enacts a famous scene (between Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar) from Hera Pheri, as Rawal and the result is hilarious.
Sonakshi Sinha
This Bollywood actress has rightfully earned the title of Dubsmash Queen. From Fight Club, Govinda, Salman Khan and Johnny Bravo to her father Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi’s videos are crazy, hilarious and keep us asking for more. Some come with a caution too.
Hugh Jackman
Hugh does a Professor Snape with this dialogue from Harry Potter, nailing the slight snarl and lip quiver.
Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon
More than their film, Hot Pursuit (which sank without a trace), their video made all the right noise. Here Reese can be seen mouthing Taylor Swift’s Trouble number when the video cuts to Sofia getting animated whenever a comical shriek interrupts the song.
