Miss India 2017: Have You Checked Out The Winner Manushi Chhillar On Instagram?

It remains to be seen whether she is able to make a mark in Bollywood like Aishwarya – most winners from previous years haven’t.

Last Sunday, the Miss India beauty pageant was held and contestants from across the country tried their luck at winning the crown. Only one woman walked home with the Femina Miss India World award, and she was Manushi Chhillar from Haryana.

“I do not really remember when the dream of Miss India started to develop because it has kind of been there with me since forever. I think it was while watching the movie Devdas when my mother told me about Aishwarya Rai. She is really fond of her, and I think that was the time when I actually started to think about becoming a Miss World one day,” Chhillar was quoted as saying by Indiatimes.com.

It remains to be seen whether she is able to make a mark in Bollywood like Aishwarya – most winners from previous years haven’t. That said, we really hope that Chhillar can turn the tide, and become a household name in the coming years.

For now, let’s take a look at her Instagram profile which is filled with beautiful pictures of the girl with the million-dollar smile.

Already, Manushi has the confidence of seasoned pro when it comes to posing.

We didn’t like purple as a colour, until we saw this.

A black outfit, and a red lipstick – the combination is too hot to handle.

That smile can light up a village with no electricity.

Well, if only she was allowed to wear a saree on the international pageant too, we are sure she will come home with the Miss World crown.
