Net Worth $400 Million: Dubai’s Crown Prince’s ‘Viral’ Pic In A London Tube Says A Lot

Maktoum is also a motorhead, who reportedly spent over $800K on a fleet of cars in 2014.

A week ago, the crown prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum was spotted spending time with his family in London. He shared pictures from the trip on Instagram, which instantly garnered millions of views. Turns out, Maktoum was traveling in the London tube as well but went completely unnoticed by most passengers. However, a couple of Dubai residents who were in London, at around the same time, were quick to recognize him and captured the moment on their phones. Despite amassing great wealth (a net worth of around $400 million), the Crown Prince’s regular pic said a lot about his humility, and an innate desire to be just like us.

In 2008, the now 39-year-old was coronated as the crown prince of Dubai by his father. He is popularly known as ‘Fazza’ and his Instagram handle goes by the same name. Apart from handling his family legacy, he is passionate about animals, sports, adventures, photography, and poetry.

A member of one of the world’s most influential families, Maktoum is the chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and primarily looks after the welfare of the country. The crown prince is also an important part of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment that empowers budding entrepreneurs. It also appears that the oil business has massively contributed to his net worth.

Unlike other places, Dubai doesn’t have oil reserves but is pegged as one of the finest tourist destinations in the world. The prince is a smart businessman, who has spearheaded an array of successful projects. Emirates Airlines aside, Dubai Holding and Dubai World are two other lucrative undertakings overseen by the young royal.

Maktoum has an eye for opulence and resides in a private palace in Dubai. He reportedly owns a 531-feet long vessel that costs $350 million! The vessel comprises seven decks and has around 24 people with 80 employees. On another note, Maktoum is a motorhead, who reportedly spent over $800K on a fleet of cars in 2014.
