After having worked wonders on James Cameron’s Avatar, Gemini Man, The Irishman and Terminator: Dark Fate – to name a few – CGI will now bring to life an iconic actor who has been dead for over 50 years.

The upcoming movie Finding Jack will star James Dean in one of the lead roles. Dean who starred in movies like Rebel Without A Cause, East of Eden and Giant, died in a car crash at the young age of 24.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the director of Finding Jack, Anton Ernst and Tati Golykh obtained the rights to use Dean’s image from the late actor’s family. The Business Insider reports that the movie is based on the novel of the same name and is based on the abandonment of over 10,000 military dogs after the end of the Vietnam War.

Not everyone is happy about this casting, though. Actor Chris Evans who portrays Captain America in the Avengers movies stated his displeasure on Twitter and said: “Maybe we can get a computer to paint us a new Picasso or write a couple new John Lennon tunes.”
