Stars like Nev Schulman, Anthony Anderson, Brian Baumgartner, Dionne Warwick, Andy King, Tom Felton and Carol Baskin made small videos to wish this person with the sweetest messages. While Baumgartner made a joke about how he’s not Ashton Kutcher, Baskin wished him with a few Tiger King references. Felton also gave a lot of Harry Potter references in his video, which a Potterhead would have loved to hear on their birthday. Gymshark sure knows how to pull off a prank. They launched this fake birthday campaign to garner shoppers’ attention ahead of Black Friday.

They posted a compilation of videos yesterday with the title that read, “”Wait, who’s Jim Shark?” showing celebrities wishing imaginary “Jim Shark” a happy birthday.

Take A Look At The Video Below:

Talking about the brand, Gymshark was established by school friends Ben Francis and Lewis Morgan back in 2012. At the young age of 19, the two boys set up the brand while also managing their studies. Francis studied at Aston University and worked as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut when he first founded the brand. Francis used to manufacture the garments for his brand in his parent’s garage initially. The made-to-sell basis apparel was stitched using a sewing machine and screen printer he purchased with £1,000 of savings. Gymshark made £500 in sales per day in the initial days.

The company was named the UK’s fastest growing company in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 in 2016. In 2019, they opened a new 8,000 square foot office in Hong Kong. They also launched the Gymshark Lifting Club, a gym and innovation hub, on the same site as its headquarters in Birmingham, later in September.

Currently, their products are sold directly to consumers in 180 countries via websites in 13 languages. It sells fitness apparel for both men and women. Their products include workout vests, hoodies, t-shirts and leggings. Quite impressive, right?
