1. Gautam Singhania & Nawaz Modi – ₹8,700 crore 

 

 

The announcement of Gautam Singhania’s separation from Nawaz Modi, daughter of renowned Mumbai-based lawyer Nadar Modi, stunned everyone. Allegations of domestic issues soon followed, with Nawaz reportedly demanding a jaw-dropping 75 per cent of Singhania's ₹11,600 crore fortune. The couple is still fighting the settlement in court.  

 

2. Hrithik Roshan & Sussanne Khan – ₹380 crore 

 

 

Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan, who were once thought to have had a fairy-tale romance, ended their marriage in 2014. Their divorce was one of Bollywood’s priciest, with Hrithik reportedly paying around ₹380 crore. Despite the split, the ex-couple maintains a friendly co-parenting relationship to this day. 

 

3. Samantha Ruth Prabhu & Naga Chaitanya – Estimated around ₹200 crore

Telugu cinema’s golden couple Samantha and Naga announced their separation in 2021, just before their fourth anniversary. While Samantha was reportedly offered ₹200 crore as alimony, she allegedly turned it down.

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s first marriage to Reena Dutta ended in 2002 after being together for 16 years. According to reports, Aamir had to pay ₹50 crore in alimony. Despite the split, the two share a respectful bond and co-parent their children, Ira and Junaid. 

 

5. Malaika Arora & Arbaaz Khan – Estimated around ₹10-15 crore
