The hype around Zack Snyder’s Justice League is only growing by the day. And with good reason. The film is setting up to be one of DC and Warner Bros. biggest superhero spectacles yet.
Since the official announcement of the film, we’ve seen various confirmed reports of several additions and variations being made to the film. For example, Superman’s new stealthy all-black suit that was unveiled during JusticeCon, a fan-organised digital panel complementing the first-ever digital San Diego Comic-Con event. “We’re going to see it in all of its massively glorious action,” said Snyder.
Now, it has been confirmed that Joe Manganiello will also make an appearance in the Snyder Cut as Deathstroke. According to Screen Rant, when Joss Wheadon took over Snyder as director, he cut short the film-maker’s original, elaborate plans for Deathstroke. Snyder is reportedly trying to correct this, and is busy reshooting a few additional scenes with Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and other actors in the film. So rest assured, this won’t be just another mini post-credit scene like the previous film.

Manganiello spoke to Collider, and confirmed that it was part of a much larger scene that will be restored to its original form in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. But the actor remained tight-lipped when asked about any new filming under Snyder’s direction.
“On my social media, I talked about [how] there was an original end credits sequence that was altered for the release of Justice League. Once Batman was cancelled, they altered that scene. So, here you go, but I wrote about that on my social media. There’s an original scene that will be restored to what it was originally.”
Zack Snyder’s Justice League is set to hit theatres later next year on September 5, 2021.
