Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara recently celebrated 10 years of first coming to screens. Around that anniversary, people find Hrithik Roshan in one particular scene in the movie quite relatable.

One particular fragment of this star-studded movie has lately been the delight of Twitter.

When Imraan Qureshi (Farhan Akhtar) throws away Arjun Saluja’s (Hrithik Roshan) phone, it puts the latter into a rage. What turns into a heated conversation, failed to be mediated by their friend, Kabir Dewan (Abhay Deol). Roshan’s character tells Akhtar’s character that, amongst other things, it was “not funny” for him to have gotten “involved” with his girlfriend.

The aggravated “it was not funny” has become the next big meme. Apparently, the internet does find it funny and has been using the moment, recreating it to make relatable assertions.

The dialogue has resurfaced after 10 years thanks to Netflix. Netflix India, uploading a screengrab, asked netizens to caption it, reliving this moment from the cult-classic film they all enjoyed back in 2011.

The template enthralled so many that ‘No funny’ started to dominated trends on Twitter on Saturday, the phrase appearing in thousands of tweets.

This unique cult classic is a story of three friends venturing on a road trip through Spain but it becomes a path to self-discovery for all three. To mark the 10-year anniversary, the cast sat down for a table read, talking about bits of the movie that stood out to them and recreating scenes that the audience seems to adore. This particular scene in question was not re-enacted, the scene leading up to it was.

In presence were the four lead actors, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol, and Farhan Akhtar along with co-writer and director Zoya Akhtar. However, Kalki Koechlin was unable to be in attendance, busy with a shoot elsewhere. This table read hosted by actor-comedian Vir Das was graced also by the film’s co-writer Reema Kagti and producer Ritesh Sidhwani.
