Have you been missing cinema halls despite knowing that the pandemic is far from over? Well, our government has some good news for you.
According to the Unlock 5 guidelines that have been issued to ease COVID-19 restrictions outside containment zones, the home ministry allowed states and union territories to make a call on the re-opening of schools after October 15. The guidelines further stated that cinemas, theatres, and multiplexes will be allowed to function at 50 percent seating from then on.
International air travel is still not allowed unless allowed by the MHA.
As far as schools are concerned, students have been given the option of attending their classes online and may only attend their institutions with written consent from their parents.
