They say ‘do what you love,’ and if that’s the case, Snoop’s personal #1 blunt craftsman really seems to have sealed the perfect deal.

The currently anonymous employee seems to have sealed his position in the good books of his high-profile boss who recently gave him a well-deserved raise in the light of rapidly rising inflation rates.

Snoop Dogg first revealed his need for a dedicated roller back in 2019, during an infamous episode of Howard Stern‘s SiriusXM show, which also featured fellow weed enthusiast Seth Rogen. The employee’s craft was even endorsed by Rogen and his own experiences. 

“That’s his J-O-B, his occupation,” explained Snoop. “On his resumé, it says, ‘What do you do?’ I’m a blunt roller,’” the rapper said. “P-B-R. Professional blunt roller. If you’re great at something I need, I’m hiring.”

The perks of this job are absolutely ridiculous. Apart from the standard benefits, Snoop’s mystery roller also gets an infinite supply of the world’s greatest kush, along with front-row access to all of the rapper’s shows, tours, media events, and frequent opportunities to rub shoulders with the rich and famous.

Other rappers have also aimed to find such a hire. Rapper Waka Flocka offered a similarly compensated $50k gig, which attracted over 60,000 applicants, while Kid Cudi also expressed similar job opportunities. Although it’s unclear if either found the right person for the job.

All that aside, Snoop is 100 percent right about inflation. In this economy, where wage raises have consistently failed to keep up with rising inflation rates, millions of Americans certainly have it bad at the workplace. Speaking about this, US President had said, “While it is heartening to see that annual inflation moderated in April, the fact remains that inflation is unacceptably high. Inflation is a challenge for families across the country, and bringing it down is my top economic priority.”
