Warner Bros. has once again rescheduled its release calendar for tall its upcoming releases excluding Wonder Woman 1984, which will still enjoy a 2020 release.
The DC Cinematic Universe has received a big push in terms of release dates. After facing production halts and its lead actor contracting coronavirus, Matt Reeves’ Robert Pattinson-starrer, The Batman, is being pushed from October 1, 2021 to March 4, 2022.
The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, has been shifted from June 3, 2022 to November 4, 2022. Shazam! Fury of the Gods won’t see a November 4, 2022 release as expected and will now hit theatres on June 2, 2023. While the other DC films have tentative release dates, the Dwayne Johnson spinoff Black Adam is now stated undated.

The other films outside the DCEU also underwent changes. The fourth, untitled The Matrix movie will move up from April 1, 2022, to December 22, 2021, and the videogame adaptation Minecraft has now been listed as undated. The long-awaited Dune has also been rescheduled to release on October 1, 2021.
As disheartening it is to wait longer for films you’re excited about, expect a few more delays from not only WB, but other major film studios as well.
