Without Voldemort’s presence, Harry’s life would be drab and there won’t be any mysteries for Ron and Hermione to solve.

If you’ve been a Harry Potter fan, like I’ve been, you must have learned to hate Voldemort. But let’s accept it, without his presence, Harry’s life would be drab and there won’t be any mysteries for Ron and Hermione to solve.

Also, you’ve got to give it to to Voldemort for being one of the greatest wizards ever, and if you can learn one good things from him — it’s to be great at what you do. That said, we still believe in the power of good winning over evil, and do not advocate any wrongdoing by glorifying You Know Who.

A while back, Gianmario Pezato made a crowd-funded unofficial fan film about him and it is so good, it gave me goosebumps.

“We had a private and confidential discussion with Warner Bros who contacted us during the period of the crowdfunding campaign. The only thing we can say is that they let us proceed with the film, in a non profit way, obviously,” Pezato was quoted as saying by Polygon.

“We wondered, ‘What made Tom Riddle become Voldemort? What happened in those years, and what really went down at Hogwarts when he came back?’ There are some clues in the books which have not been transposed at all in the movies, but a lot goes unspoken. This is the story we want to tell: The rise of the Dark Lord before Harry Potter and his first demise,” he added.

All said and done, even the great Voldemort could not surpass the power of love. “The Boy-Who-Lived. How lies have fed your legend, Harry! Do you want to know what really happened thirteen years ago? Shall I divulge how I truly lost my powers? It was love. You see, when dear sweet Lily Potter gave her life for her only son, it provided him with the ultimate protection, I could not touch him. It was old magic, something I should have foreseen. But no matter, no matter, things have changed. I CAN TOUCH YOU… NOW,” he said in the book Goblet Of Fire, which was the fourth book in the franchise.

We hope to see many more fan films from Pezato — probably something about Ron. But as of now, there are no plans.
