Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan marks the actor’s first collaboration with Atlee, but that is not the only reason why fans are excited about the film. SRK’s next also boasts of an ensemble cast with names like Sanya Malhotra, Nayanthara, and Sunil Grover being associated with the film. Rana Daggubati was also rumoured to be a part of it, but now, it is being suggested that the actor might be replaced with Vijay Sethupathi.
While the makers continue to remain tight-lipped about the details of the film, reports suggest that Sethupathi has bagged the role of the antagonist, in lieu of Daggubati who supposedly couldn’t take up the offer on account of a busy schedule. Sethupathi has previously won hearts with his roles in films like Vikram, Master, and Vikram Vedha, so it will be interesting to see him on the screen again.
A source told India Today, “Since Vijay Sethupathi is one of the busiest actors in India, dates are now being worked out. Soon, he will join the film’s sets in Mumbai for the shooting. An announcement will be made at the right time.” Deepika Padukone and Thalapathy Vijay are also rumoured to have cameos in the film.
Talking more about Jawan, the film will feature Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Simarjeet Singh Nagra, and Manahar Kumar as a part of the supporting cast. Whereas cinematographer GK Vishnu, composer Anirudh Ravichander and art director Sukracharyya Ghosh compose the technical crew of the highly-anticipated movie.
With the teaser of SRK’s film out, people are excited to see Khan back in action. The commercial entertainer is written and directed by Atlee and will hit the theatres on June 2, 2023, in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The actor also has Pathaan and Dunki in the pipeline along with this film.
