Travis Scott x Air Jordan collaborations have always been the most sought-after AJ1 collabs in the history of sneaker collabs. And the new Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” are all set to be released today, on July 21. If you are someone who is looking to buy this new pair of shoes, then you have landed at the right place to get all the details about the launch.
A few sneakerheads already got a headstart on buying the shoes through an exclusive raffle on Scott’s online store. Complex reported that 2.4 million entries were logged in for the purchase in the 30 minutes the raffle was open for on Monday. Surprisingly, the number of entries isn’t an unusual phenomenon for Cactus Jack sneaker projects. The Nike Air Trainer 1 collab reportedly netted over 1 million entries when it had released in May.
Talking about the new sneakers, it comes as no shock that they are designed in brown colour. La Flame has often expressed that his favourite colour is brown. From brown Lamborghinis to brown Batman Halloween outfits, he never gets bored of this colour. That goes for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha”, too. The sneakers have a similar Mocha and off-white palette just like the wildly popular Air Jordan 1 Mocha.
Post the raffle, StockX will initiate a Global ReStockX promotion from July 21 to July 23. One winner from anywhere in the world will be gifted a pair of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Reverse Mocha” by bidding just $1. The sneaker can be grabbed at a price of $190. StockX market data indicates an average resale price of $1671 which is a 966 per cent premium (the highest of the year).
In addition to the sneakers , the new collaboration will also feature a 21-piece apparel collection that includes t-shirts, hoodies and accessories. Travis Scott also shared the full video campaign for his new Jordan 1 collab that features Euphoria actor Javon Walton.
Sneakerheads are ardent to grab the new pair of sneakers. Many took to Twitter to express their excitement. Check out the tweets below:
