#ThrowbackThursday: WTF Moments From Welcome, No Entry And Other Anees Bazmee Films

It’s hard to choose the worst scene, from this list.

Anees Bazmee is back with his latest film Mubarakan that hits theatres this Friday. Like Bazmee’s previous films, we are sure that this film will have some outrageous moments that are so bad, they’re good. After all, we’ve seen enough Bazmee films (on TV, we aren’t daft enough to pay for them) to know that.

Let’s take a look at some of the moments that made us go WTF from films like Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, Welcome, No Entry, Thank You and Welcome Back.

Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, Jo Hona Hai Woh Hona Hai

Seriously, if any of us were in the midst of such bullshit, we would pray for the plane to crash. Watch it till the end for the Macarena spoof. And yes, who dresses up as a Michael Jackson lookalike in a plane. Such stuff can only come from Bazmee’s brain.

Welcome, Aloo Lelo

A man selling potatoes and onion, in an expensive blazer? It can’t get worse than this. Nana Patekar has been a part of some objectionable scenes (and some sensational ones too) in his life, but this one takes the cake.

No Entry, The Parrot Who Is An Astrologer

In this scene, there’s Lara Dutta probably delivering her worst performance in her entire career. Then, you have the real Anil Kapoor talk to his duplicate. Lastly, it’s based around a fraud astrologer who relies on a parrot. Like, seriously.

Welcome Back, Naseeruddin Shah Sings Chhod Diya Jaaye

In this scene, Naseeruddin Shah (called Wanted Bhai) gets shot by Shiney Ahuja, and his death is celebrated by Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. They talk about all the shit Wanted Bhai (Naseer) made them go through. But to their misfortune, Wanted Bhai wakes up and listens to all of this bitching. He speaks up, and makes everyone else shit in their pants. Lastly, he starts dancing to Chodd Diya Jaaye, ya maar Diya Jaaye. You have to see it to believe it.
