The 2018 Golden Globes Awards commenced today, and other than the wonderful films that bagged the coveted trophy, a lot of attention was given to sexual harassment that is prevalent in Hollywood and most of the women wore black in protest.

On the good side, Seth Meyers who hosted the show, was in fine form and opened the show with, “Good evening, ladies and remaining gentlemen.” It was a difficult job, considering the mood in Hollywood, but Meyers handled it perfectly. “There’s a new era on the way, I can tell, because it’s been years since a white man was this nervous in Hollywood. By the way, a special hello, to the host other upcoming award shows who are watching me tonight like the first dog they shot into outer space,” he added.

There was also a hilarious segment where he let celebrities like Jessica Chastain and Hong Chau complete his jokes.
