It gave regional cinema its due recognition on an international level, and streaming platforms made it possible for audiences to access content in new languages. Many actors from the south like Samantha Ruth Prabhu who played Raji in Family Man Season 2, Ram Charan and NTR Jr in RRR, Allu Arjun in Pushpa: The Rise, and Yash in the KGF franchise have already popular among the Hindi-speaking audience.

Rashmika Mandanna
Still basking in the success of Pushpa: The Rise, actor Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make her Bollywood debut. She will be seen opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the spy-thriller Mission Majnu directed by Shantanu Bagchi. The film will release in June 2022. The actress will also be seen in Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta.
Vijay Deverakonda
The Arjun Reddy actor will soon be seen in the sports drama Liger opposite Ananya Panday. Written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film will see Deverakonda playing the role of a kickboxer. The film will also star Mike Tyson, Ronit Roy, and Ramya Krishna. Vijay Deverakonda has another pan-Indian film in the pipeline. Titled JGM, this film will also be helmed by Jagannadh.
Naga Chaitanya
Naga Chaitanya is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the Telugu film industry. The actor will be seen with Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an adaptation of Tom Hank’s Oscar-winning Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
Nayanthara
Nayanthara is all set to make her Hindi film debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in a film that is yet to be titled. The project is said to draw inspiration from Netflix’s popular series Money Heist.
Vijay Sethupathi
One of the finest actors in the Indian film industry, Vijay Sethupathi has worked in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam films. He will be seen in Mumbaikar along with Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Sachin Khedekar, and Tanya Maniktala. The film is a remake of 2017 Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Maanagaram.
