The film is set to hit screens on the 11th of October this year and marks Chopra’s return to Hindi cinema after a period of three years. Her last film, Jai Gangajal was released in 2016 but was shot much earlier and she also starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani in 2015.
“Presenting the trailer for #TheSkyIsPink – a film about love, made with so much of it! It’s a very proud milestone moment for me, because it’s my first as an actor & co-producer. Hope it gives you all the feels & inspires you to celebrate life!” Chopra wrote on Twitter.
The Sky Is Pink will also be Wasim’s last movie in Bollywood as the actress announced that she was quitting the industry a few months ago. In a social media post, she wrote that while she may fit into the industry, she doesn’t belong here and that it interferes with her faith and religion.
