Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling’s The Gray Man, which is all set to release on July 22, has caught the fancy of Indian fans. Before its big theatrical release, the creators of the movie hosted a special screening in Los Angeles, where it was revealed that Dhanush from the home turf will be in the movie, too. Based on Mark Greaney’s book series, this movie is about a CIA agent who is on a manhunt. With a budget of $200 million, it has a fabulous cast, which includes Ana De Armas, Rege-Jean Page, and Billy Bob Thorton.
Film critic Courtney Howard tweeted about her praising the movie, and called it well-constructed with unrelenting action sequences. She also commended Evans, Gosling, Armas and Dhanush’s performances.
Another journalist, Rachel Leishman, also tweeted about the film lauding specific sequences, saying that she loves The Gray Man.
Film and TV critic, Jana N Nagase wrote admiring the action sequences in the movie.
This marks Dhanush’s Hollywood debut and he is drawing praise from all corners for a power-packed performance. He plays the role of an assassin in the movie. In a press conference, he had said that an Indian casting agency had roped him in for the project. We’re excited about the movie hitting our shores so we too can get a closer look at how Dhanush is rocking the screen overseas.
