Yes, it’s happening. The Avengers are assembling, once again. This time, not to save the world, but to help America vote.

Several cast members from Avengers: Endgame will be joining film-makers Joe and Anthony Russo for a fundraising event in support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ campaign. Titled ‘Voters Assemble,’ the event will be a Q&A, and will have Senator Kamala Harris in attendance. Harris will be joined by a few Avengers like Chris Evans, Don Cheadle, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Rudd, Scarlett Johansson and Zoe Saldana.

It’s no surprise that the actors are joining the political campaign. Chris Evans has always been a vocal member of American society, and has used his status to highlight several social issues. Evans also recently launched the civic engagement platform ‘A Starting Point.’ Scarlett Johansson is another actress that has always weighed in on socio-political issues, along with Mark Ruffalo.

The late Chadwick Boseman was another Avenger who stood behind Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. We are almost certain that Boseman would have been another powerful voice to this already exceptional lineup if he were here today.

BUT WHERE IS CHRISS PRATT?

While a majority of the Avengers cast vocally support the Democrat Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, a few users pointed out to Chris Pratt’s absence. Pratt has always been awfully quiet about his political allegiances, but netizens have been speculating that he is actually a Trump supporter.

Pratt’s father-in-law was allegedly a former Republican Governor, and according to Vox, Pratt attends Zoe Church in Los Angeles which reportedly shares anti-LGBT+ views. However, Pratt did address these claims. As reported by CNN, Pratt had addressed the issue on an Instagram story and said, “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti –LGBTQ’. Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone.”

Pratt has never openly supported Trump, nor has he shared anti-LGBT+ views publicly yet, but his silence on the matter for years only widens the suspicion.
