Remember back in 2016, a phone call between Taylor Swift and Kanye West over his controversial song Famous, started a Twitter trend #TaylorSwiftIsOverParty when Kim Kardashian West posted it? Turns out it was just an edited version of the phone call.

Now, four years later, the full, unedited version of the infamous “Famous” phone call between the two has finally leaked online. The leaked video appears to have proven Swift told the truth about her phone call with West over his controversial song Famous.

In the footage which has been shared on Twitter, West can be seen informing Taylor he is writing a song about her and asked her if she could promote the song by tweeting it out. West tells her: ‘It has a very controversial line at the beginning of the song about you.’ Later he asked Swift she sounded sad, where she questioned of the lyrics were ‘mean’, to which he reassured her he didn’t think they were. He later went on to explain the actual lyric: ‘To all my Southside n***as that know me best / I feel like Taylor Swift might owe me sex.’ Swift laughed it off and said, “That’s not mean.”

There is no mention West would call her a ‘b***h’ or suggest he ‘made her famous’ during the phone call. In a separate clip which is circulating on Twitter which appears to be from the same call, Swift tells West:’I [sold] a full 7 million of that album before you did that, which is what happened.’ It is believed she is referencing her album Fearless and West’s stage-invasion when she was honoured for Video of the Year at the AMAs.

Soon after the leaked video was all over, Swift’s army of fans known as ‘Swifties’ started the trending hashtags #TaylorToldTheTruth, #KanyeWestPartyIsOver, #TaylorWasRight. Take a look at some of the tweets below.
